Getting Started with Ovulation CalendarStep 1. Enter your menstrual cycle data. Ovulation Calendar calculates your fertility based on your menstrual cycle information. To generate the calendar, you must enter the first day of your last menstrual period, the length of your menstrual cycle, and the length of your luteal phase if you know it. To enter these data, click the Edit button:
See Editing Menstrual Cycle Data for more details. Step 2. Choose your goal. Ovulation Calendar is designed to help you get pregnant or avoid an unwanted pregnancy. It also allows you to choose the gender of your baby. To select your goal, choose one of these options in My Goal:
Note: The ability to choose the gender of your baby is available only in the full version of Ovulation Calendar.See How to Get the Full Version for more information. Step 3. Use the calendar to determine your fertile and non-fertile days. After you enter the menstrual cycle data and choose your goal, Ovulation Calendar calculates your fertile periods and shows the results as a color-coded calendar:
The fertile days are shown in green, the non-fertile days are shown in white, and the days of menstruation flow are marked in red. The most fertile day is the day of ovulation; it is marked with a light green circle on a dark green background. The heart symbols indicate the days that are favorable for conceiving a baby of the desired gender, and the stop signs show that you should abstain from intercourse on these days. Step 4. Read the comments for more detailed information. When you click on a day in the calendar area, Ovulation Calendar shows medical comments and recommendations for that day:
Note: The trial version of Ovulation Calendar shows Buy Now reminders in the comments area. These
are removed when you buy the full version of Ovulation Calendar.See How to Get the Full Version for more information.
